The Jonas Salk Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary is excited to open applications and nominations for membership for the Fall 2017 term. In order to be eligible for membership, students must have lived on campus for at least one semester (not including Fall 2017), currently be living on campus, have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA, demonstrate a commitment to our residence hall community, and embody our values of recognition and service. Interested students may self-nominate themselves by filling out an application and current members or Residence Life Professional Staff may nominate students for membership. Applications and nominations are due September 25, 2017 by 11:59pm. After the application deadline, all applicants and nominees will be invited for an interview with the Executive Board. Students will be notified if their application or nomination was accepted by the end of the day October 2, 2017. Induction into the Jonas Salk Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary is conditional on meeting all membership expectations for one semester; more information about membership expectations can be found here. First-year first-semester students may apply but cannot be formally inducted until the end of the Spring 2018 semester, conditional on meeting all membership expectations.
